About The Position

Provide architecture, engineering, and guidance for building out AWS cloud infrastructure in an enterprise environment. This role focuses on establishing scalable, secure, and well governed cloud foundations while integrating with existing systems and infrastructure. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and standardizing AWS infrastructure. The role requires strong architectural leadership and hands on experience building foundational cloud capabilities that can scale across the organization.

Requirements

Strong experience designing and building AWS environments in enterprise settings
Experience establishing cloud standards, governance, and architectural frameworks
Broad systems engineering backgound across Windows and or Linux platforms
Understanding of core AWS services including compute, storage, identity, and networking
Experience integrating AWS with enterprise infrastructure such as Active Directory
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills across infrastructure layers
Ability to lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions

Nice To Haves

Experience building cloud environments from the ground up or maturing early stage cloud adoption
Familiarity with Zero Trust architectures and platforms such as Zscaler
Experience with endpoint and device management platforms such as Microsoft Intune
AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect Associate or Professional
Experience working in regulated or security focused environments

Responsibilities

Support and improve reliability, performance, and availability of AWS environments
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across cloud and on prem systems
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain service levels
Develop and maintain documentation including architecture diagrams, standards, and procedures
Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning
