About The Position

Avahi is seeking an accomplished AWS Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of customer projects. This role is critical in driving successful migration, modernization, and DevOps initiatives. As the primary technical leader, you’ll guide customer consultations, create innovative proofs of concept (POCs), and shape our technical strategies. Requirements

• AWS Professional and specialty certifications are highly desirable.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, and ECS.
• Track record of leading successful AWS migration and modernization projects.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, CircleCI).
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and its best practices.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Able to present technical solutions and demos to internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience with Data, Machine Learning, or AI technologies.
• Passion for contributing to open-source tools and communities.
• Knowledge of advanced AWS services or emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical leader in customer calls, leading technical discussions and presenting solutions.
• Support DevOps, migration, and modernization projects by delivering high-quality technical outcomes.
• Work with PMs to create detailed project backlogs and roadmap to ensure successful project delivery.
• Serve as a hands-on escalation point for complex technical issues during project execution.
• Guide team members on AWS solutions, migration strategies, and best practices, fostering skill development.
• Leverage deep cloud migration experience to ensure seamless transitions to AWS from on-premises environments.
• Design and implement innovative solutions, remaining hands-on throughout project lifecycles.
• Stay updated on AWS offerings, DevOps tools, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
