Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to enterprise architecture governance, cloud migration strategy, and modernization roadmaps.
  • Experience operating within regulated or highly governed environments (financial services or similarly regulated sectors).
  • Familiarity with cost optimization (FinOps) and cloud governance frameworks.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) – mandatory.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or cloud-native product architecture.
  • Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, EKS/ECS, VPC, IAM, KMS, API Gateway, CloudWatch.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in regulated or enterprise-scale environments, ideally financial services.
  • Ability to translate business and product requirements into architecture blueprints, design decisions, and implementation-ready guidance for engineering teams.
  • Strong collaboration skills across product, engineering, DevOps, data, and security functions.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in customer discussions to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
  • Provide suggestions on solution architecture, contribute to tech framework development, support enterprise architecture definition, and drive design creation
  • Identify suitable technologies and tools available in the market, and perform a comparative analysis in line with client's business requirement, thereby identifying optimal architectural solution options
  • Participate in developing integration strategies based on validation of proof of concept of proposed architectural solutions
  • Facilitate a smooth transition by ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to quality standards, while contributing to the build and deployment automation strategy
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues using solution deployment and roll out methods, during build, deployment and support phases
  • Analyze system performance basis architectural solutions implemented and support in identifying potential risks in the system landscape
  • Create artifacts of architectural frameworks and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository
  • Define and own the overall target architecture on AWS across application, data, integration, security, and infrastructure layers.
  • Design secure AWS landing zones, VPC architecture, and multi-account deployment models.
  • Define integration patterns, API contracts, and data architecture across platform components.
  • Establish network isolation, IAM, encryption (KMS), and configuration management standards.
  • Partner with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation) for automated, repeatable deployments.
  • Partner with Security teams on RBAC, secrets management, logging, and audit/compliance readiness.
  • Partner with Data Engineering on data modeling, lineage, and data quality.
  • Lead architecture design reviews and walkthroughs with client stakeholders and internal governance boards.
  • Ensure the platform is scalable, resilient, cost-optimized, and aligned with AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
