About The Position
The AWS Certified Welding Inspector & Ultrasonic Shear Wave Level II Technician will perform NDT inspections of weldments, piping systems and fixed equipment within area(s) of assigned responsibility. The work schedule will be project based with the Alaska special projects callout division. Projects may be local or remote.
Requirements
- AWS CWI certification
- Current level II UTSW certification
- Current MT and PT certifications
- Ability to follow and draft standard piping isometric drawings
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- RT Code level II code preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform NDT inspections of weldments, piping systems and fixed equipment within area(s) of assigned responsibility.
- Work on a project-based schedule with the Alaska special projects callout division.
- Travel to local or remote project sites as required.
