About The Position

Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform. Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards. Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products. Be a productive member of the team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud architecture roles, with at least 6+ years focused on AWS.
  • Strong hands-on expertise across AWS compute, storage, networking, observability, and data services.
  • Deep understanding of AWS pricing models and optimization tools including AWS Cost Explorer, Compute Optimizer, Trusted Advisor, and Cost & Usage Reports (CUR).
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as ECS, Fargate, and EKS.
  • Hands-on experience with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda.
  • Expertise in streaming and messaging services including MSK and Kinesis.
  • Experience with ETL and data integration services such as AWS Glue.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework reviews, particularly the Cost Optimization and Performance Efficiency pillars.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools including Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification is required.

Nice To Haves

  • AWS Specialty certifications in Data, Security, or Networking are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.
  • Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.
  • Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.
  • Be a productive member of the team.
  • Conduct detailed architecture reviews across AWS services including MSK, ECS, CloudWatch, Glue, S3, EC2, Lambda, Connect, Config, CloudTrail, ELB, SQS, and MQ.
  • Identify and recommend cloud cost optimization opportunities such as right-sizing, Graviton migration, Spot instances, Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, lifecycle policies, and Intelligent-Tiering strategies.
  • Assess non-production environments to optimize shutdown schedules, reduce duplication, and consolidate shared services where applicable.
  • Evaluate emerging AWS technologies including Graviton, Outposts, and AWS Marketplace offerings for cost-efficient adoption strategies.
  • Prepare monthly optimization and recommendation reports with quantified cost savings, implementation plans, and architectural improvement roadmaps.
