Alpha FMC | AWM & Alternatives Consulting Intern (2027)

Alpha Financial Markets Consulting - Early CareersNew York, NY
Hybrid

About The Position

The Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) Consulting Internship Program is a fast-paced, ten-week opportunity to jump-start your consulting career. Based in our New York or Toronto office, you'll work directly with clients and gain hands-on consulting experience through direct exposure to senior management teams at some of the world’s largest asset managers, all while contributing to key internal initiatives. New Consulting Interns kick things off with an ‘Alpha Internship Training Program’ designed to build key consulting skills and a solid network within your cohort. Following the Internship Training Program, you will likely be working on a client engagement with a small to medium sized team (2 to 6 consultants). As advisors to the world’s top asset and wealth managers, you’ll be working alongside senior executives from the industry and helping them to solve their most challenging business problems and achieve their goals. As for where you will work, our teams typically split time between working from home, your local Alpha office, and client site. If your client is based in the same city, the amount of office time will vary depending on the client expectations (some clients don't ask us to be in their offices at all, others up to 4 days per week). If your client is based in a different city, travel to the client would typically only be required for key meetings or project milestones. Alpha believes in supporting its interns through development and coaching – you will receive frequent mentoring from your colleagues, including a senior colleague from Alpha North America who will help you grow and achieve your career goals. You'll also have an Alpha Buddy at the Analyst level to help you settle in and get the most out of your time here. At the end of your internship, strong performers may receive an offer to join us as a full-time Analyst after completing their degree.
