About The Position

The Associate Vice President (AVP), Value-Based Network Development provides executive leadership for the strategic design and operational expansion of high-performance primary and specialty physician networks for Jackson Health System. The role supports the transition from volume-driven transactions to coordinated value through development of Value Based Enterprise (VBE), Clinically Integrated Network (CIN), and Accountable Care Organization (ACO)-aligned support structures. Working in a leadership triad with the AVP, Operations and Value Stream Integration and the AVP, Managed Care, the incumbent aligns clinical, financial, and data value drivers to reduce risk, expand access, and foster organizational resilience. The position establishes primary and specialty physician networks, advances value-based readiness, and supports ACO-aligned operations. It collaborates with community clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers, management services organization partners, system leaders, and other stakeholders on network agreements, risk models, shared standards, analytics, and community-based care pathways. The AVP also leads network development teams and works with the C-Suite, Board, and Jackson Memorial Foundation to support Jackson Health System’s mission and strategic objectives.
