About The Position

HealthEquity is seeking an AVP, Technical Program Management to lead cross-team programs that live in the gaps between teams, ensuring their successful landing. This role involves owning how decisions are made, designing and running the company's planning processes (quarterly and annual), and establishing the operational backbone for tracking development, vendor relationships, and systems touching protected health information, payment rails, and regulatory reporting. The position will also focus on building internal tooling to provide a unified view of what's in flight and who is working on it. The role requires a hands-on approach, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to frame messy problems and exercise judgment. The AVP will report to the VP, Strategy, Development and Planning and lead a team of 14 technical program managers, some directly and some through a manager. This is not a chief of staff or PMO role; the focus is on owning decision-making and cutting unnecessary process.

  • Ability to effectively engage with leadership teams and engineers without altering the core message.
