About The Position

As an AVP, Full Stack Developer at LPL Financial, you will help design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable financial technology solutions. The role contributes across the software development life cycle, from front-end interfaces to back-end services and database interactions, with a focus on high-quality, performant applications that meet business needs.

The position also involves applying AI tools and practices to software development, including AI copilots and large language models for code generation, review, refactoring, and debugging. The role calls for design collaboration using Figma, responsible AI practices that protect data privacy and security, and an understanding of deploying agents at production scale using platforms such as AWS Bedrock and Vercel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in full-stack software development.
• Experience with at least one modern front-end framework, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, and related technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with at least one back-end programming language, such as Java, Python, or C#, and relevant frameworks such as Spring Boot, .NET Core, Django, or Flask.
• Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design, querying, and optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration.
• Experience using AI copilots such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Antigravity and LLMs such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
• Understanding of deploying agents at production scale using AWS Bedrock, Vercel, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using front-end frameworks, back-end languages, and database systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to understand requirements, design technical solutions, and estimate effort.
• Write clean, efficient, documented, and testable code in accordance with best practices and architectural patterns.
• Participate in code reviews to support code quality, consistency, and adherence to standards.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, provide timely resolutions, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Use AI copilots and LLMs to accelerate development and support code generation, review, refactoring, and debugging.
• Apply responsible AI practices, including attention to data privacy and security, and understand how to deploy agents at production scale.
