The purpose of the role is to establish and nurture profitable partnerships that contribute to the bank's growth and strategic objectives. This is achieved by acting as a liaison between the bank and its external partners, working to create mutually beneficial collaborations. The Assistant Vice President (AVP) will advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. They will collaborate closely with other functions and business divisions, and if leading a team, will set objectives, coach employees, appraise performance, and determine reward outcomes. For individual contributors, they will lead collaborative assignments, guide team members, identify the need for other specializations, and identify new directions for assignments or projects. They will consult on complex issues, provide advice to People Leaders, identify ways to mitigate risk, and develop new policies/procedures. They will take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls, perform work closely related to other areas, and collaborate with other areas of work for business-aligned support. They will engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources to solve problems creatively and effectively, and communicate complex information, influencing or convincing stakeholders to achieve outcomes. You will also oversee acquisition marketing operations across the total GAP portfolio - guiding intake, reporting, and go-to-market acquisition strategy for Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic and Athleta. You will coordinate across internal teams and external partners to execute acquisition campaigns, ensure compliance, and maintain consistent communication.
