Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, or other related HR field.
  • Eight years of experience related to HR, leadership development, or talent management.
  • One year at the supervisory, lead and/or senior HR level.
  • Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education.
  • Applicable additional education levels or relevant but not required certifications may be eligible to satisfy minimum experience requirements.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Broad business acumen - experience anticipating and understanding business needs and objectives and driving valuable and aligned strategies and solutions.
  • Ability to analyze and quickly use data for storytelling and inspiring change to drive positive business outcomes.
  • Ability to toggle between strategic and tactical with a willingness to "roll up their sleeves”.
  • Continuous self -development and professional networking to stay on top of emerging and progressive talent management and leadership development ideas and practices.
  • Strong accountability, problem solving and innovative thinking.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, discernment, and emotional intelligence.
  • Project management skills with a high sense of urgency and ability to track and lead concurrent project timelines, resource allocations, and critical milestones.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP designation is preferred.
  • Executive coaching or other related training certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Leadership Development, Career Opportunity, and Talent Management professionals.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of TFCU's talent management strategy, including succession planning, career framework, career development planning, performance review framework, and leadership development programs and initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders and HR leadership to identify workforce needs, assess organizational capability, and develop scalable talent management programs that support business objectives.
  • Develop and implement programs that enhance employee growth, engagement, retention, and internal mobility.
  • Design and lead succession planning processes and ensure strong leadership pipelines for critical positions across the organization.
  • Utilize workforce analytics, trends, and talent metrics to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Learning & Development to create comprehensive talent management programs that supports TFCU's long-term success.
