AVP, Finance Operations - FT, Days - Jefferson Health (Lehigh Valley/Center City)
About The Position
This position supports an assigned enterprise division, geographic market, or hospital campus, working directly with finance and senior leadership to analyze and provide financial information and data for decision-making. The role evaluates performance and seeks process improvements that generate favorable returns to the operating margin. The AVP will work with senior leaders to drive strategy and compile/review business plans that support the overall strategy and mission. This role develops budget assumptions for operating budgets to achieve overall targets and oversees the capital budget process, approving capital throughout the year within the capital policy and category parameters. The AVP analyzes financial performance throughout the month and proactively identifies opportunities to enhance revenue or reduce costs, working collaboratively to engage and implement such opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting
- 10 years in HEALTHCARE Finance and Accounting
- Experience with Strata (Jazz), Hyperion, or Axium preferred
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in business administration
- CPA - Certified Public Accountant - State of Pennsylvania
