About The Position

This position will lead and coordinate, with various commercial loan operational teams, in the identification, development, and implementation of effective systems and procedures to support the business objectives of the Bank. Will gain thorough knowledge of various operations processes and will recommend changes to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, or standardize procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years in a commercial lending environment.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
• Strong project management, organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in the development and use of spreadsheets and other analytical tools.
• Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and possess the ability to be a team player in a professional team setting.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience with commercial loans and other complex real estate transactions.

Nice To Haves

• Prior banking, project management, leadership, or process improvement experience preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of IBS, Baker Hill, and Compliance Systems documentation platforms desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate assigned projects pertaining to commercial loan documentation and operations, including the drafting and implementation of new processes and procedures.
• Gain thorough knowledge of workflows and internal controls of the commercial banking systems, including, but not limited to, the core loan system, loan origination platform, and loan documentation system.
• Leverage knowledge to implement process improvement opportunities.
• Administer, manage, and maintain assigned commercial banking systems as necessary.
• Oversee the system configuration and administration of the commercial loan documentation platform, including system updates, issue resolution, and document testing based on recent changes to bank policy, regulatory and compliance updates, and direction from internal legal counsel.
• Liaison for loan origination system platform. Have thorough knowledge of the system to assist with updates and coordinate efforts between the various departments of the commercial lending division of the Bank.
• Oversee performance metrics, trends, and other commercial loan operational reporting.
• Facilitate communication to loan documentation and operations team regarding updates to core systems, process changes, and Bank implemented policy changes.
• Lead data mapping and data conversion efforts during mergers, acquisitions, and system conversions.
• Coordinate post-conversion activities including the development and execution of testing plans to ensure data conversion accuracy and perform account audits to ensure system data is consistent with contractual requirements of loan documents, terms and conditions.
• Establish, develop, and maintain strong, professional working relationships with management of various departments and respective support staff to improve cross-departmental communications, foster teamwork, and build partnerships.
• Assist various Commercial Loan Operations supervisors and departments in executing daily responsibilities as needed.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
