About The Position

The AVP Branch Manager, Loan Officer drives the financial growth and operational excellence of the branch. The role manages branch activities and ensures exceptional customer service while meeting lending goals. The position builds relationships with clients and community partners to expand the branch’s market presence and loan portfolio, and ensures the branch operates efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with the organization’s mission and values.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in loan origination, underwriting, or banking operations.
• Proven experience managing teams in a financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of lending products, credit analysis, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical skills to assess creditworthiness and manage risk.
• Organizational skills to maintain smooth branch operations and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop branch staff to achieve individual and branch lending targets.
• Manage daily branch operations, including customer service, sales initiatives, and administrative functions.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow the loan portfolio and increase market share in the branch’s geographic area.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, community organizations, and business partners to strengthen the branch’s reputation and referral network.
• Monitor branch performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, risk management policies, and internal controls.
