About The Position

In this role, you can expect to perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of avionics systems on board aircraft at a Textron Aviation Service Center. Requirements

  • A high school diploma or a GED is required
  • A minimum 3 years experience in aircraft avionics system troubleshooting and repair is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, it applicable is required

Nice To Haves

  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Isolate and repair avionics system issues based on customer complaints, following FAA procedures
  • Analyze in-flight data and customer feedback to diagnose and correct issues
  • Identify and resolve defects in units or wiring discrepancies
  • Replace defective units, repair wiring, and modify aircraft as needed
  • Accompany pilots to conduct functional tests on repaired or aligned systems as needed
  • Perform duties based on aircraft orders, wiring diagrams, and both oral and written instructions
