The Avionics Technician performs maintenance of aircraft to ensure functionality of electronic and electrical systems. Endeavor Air is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Must hold a valid Airframe and Power Plant mechanics license or be eligible to apply for and receive a repairman certificate.
  • 1 year experience working as an Avionics Technician OR successful completion of an accredited Avionics school/program (Military training/experience is acceptable)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic, reliable, self-motivated with a positive attitude, and very customer service oriented.
  • Ability to travel internationally and passport is required within 3 months of hire.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and if position requires use of company vehicle(s), must be insurable under company insurance coverage.

Nice To Haves

  • FCC license preferred
  • Professional work experience in the aviation mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance of the aircraft electronic and electrical systems.
  • The component level/bench technicians are responsible for the maintenance and preventative maintenance of all LRU’s as determined by their repair capabilities list.
  • Technicians also support the flight line and hangar as required.
  • All maintenance is performed IAW established procedures and the Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Performs additional functions (essential or otherwise) as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Demonstrate behavior in accordance with Endeavor Air “Code of Conduct” in all Company business dealings and decisions.
  • Demonstrate a high level of focus on customer service.
  • Requires contact with staff and business relationships including the FAA.
