In this role, you'll perform advanced avionics installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair while helping ensure aircraft meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. This position involves leading the maintenance, preventative maintenance, or alteration of, or approving and returning to service, any aircraft, or part thereof, for which the Lead is rated and has satisfactorily performed the work concerned at an earlier date. The role also includes facilitating On-the-Job Training (OJT) and performing maintenance tasks as required, becoming an active member of the crew. The technician will have intermediate knowledge of all areas of the aircraft and assigned work area, properly utilize and maintain Avionics hand tools, prepare routine reports and correspondence, fabricate wire bundles and assemblies per drawings and standard practices, and diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make necessary adjustments.
