As an Avionics Technician II, you will be responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing various electrical and avionics equipment and systems, including Flight Management Systems (FMS), Satcom and Airborne Radio Telephone Systems, EGPWS/TAWS, communications, navigation, radar, TCAS/XPDR, DME, autopilot/flight director, audio, ADF, Cabin Management/In-flight Entertainment (IFE), and other sophisticated avionics/electronics systems. The role also includes routing wire throughout aircraft, assisting in functional checkout and troubleshooting of wiring systems, and performing less difficult assignments without direct supervision. Precision is crucial for quality installations, on-time deliveries, and customer satisfaction. Direct and open communication with customers regarding repair status and timeframes is required, along with maintaining a professional appearance and communication skills to foster positive relationships.
