An Avionics Technician I operates, installs, maintains, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs all on-aircraft electronic and electrical systems. They develop, fabricate, test, modify, and integrate electronic flight hardware into research and science aircraft, simulators, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), and associated payload systems, both on aircraft and in back-shop environments. This role requires compliance with all mandated certification requirements, including safety training, local process guidance, and general project orientation.
