An Avionics Technician I operates, installs, maintains, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs all on-aircraft electronic and electrical systems; develops, fabricates, tests, modifies, and integrates electronic flight hardware into research and science aircraft, simulators, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and associated payload systems, and in back-shop environments. The role requires compliance with all mandated certification requirements, including safety training, guidance on local processes, and general project orientation.
