This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing airframes and related components, including flight controls, hydraulics, fuel systems, and mechanical components. The technician will also conduct the disassembly of aircraft by removing components, cleaning/inspecting and properly tagging parts for inventory.

Requirements

FAA Airframe and Powerplant License with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Excellent computer skills.
Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required.
Certification of air data systems on RSVM-certified aircraft.
Must be able to read and write English and have good communication, writing, and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to pass DOT required pre-employment drug test.
FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Good vision and depth perception
Availability during nights, weekends, & holidays as needed
Three (3) years proven experience in a similar position
High School diploma or GED
Has no certificate action since the date of the interview
Has no misdemeanors or felonies since the interview date
Must be authorized to work in the United States of America

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Citation XLS, Citation Latitude, Gulfstream G-IV, G-V, Hawker 800/900XP, Global Express preferred.
Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
A&P Certification preferred

Responsibilities

Perform aircraft maintenance, inspections and repair in accordance with regulations, manufacturer instructions and company policies.
Applies technical knowledge of aircraft systems to effectively troubleshoot and determine system and equipment malfunctions.
Maintains records in compliance with FAA and Company standards.
Maintains premises of the shop facility in a clean and organized manner.
Maintains equipment and tools in serviceable and working condition.
Performs many other duties as assigned
