About The Position

Responsible for performing structural repairs, modifications, installations, on and off aircraft related to Avionics installations and other structural needs.

Requirements

Read and interpret aircraft blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and manuals.
Min 3+ years of structural repair/manufacturing/modifications experience.
Demonstrate good problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
Must be self-motivated.
Must be willing and motivated to learn new skills and equipment.
Must be able to pass drug and background screen.

Responsibilities

Part removal, repair, fabrication and re-installation of aircraft components.
Advanced removal, installation, and repairs using engineering drawings and blueprints.
Maintain work and shop areas to a clean and safe environment.
Operate and maintain shop fabrication equipment.
Minimal supervision to maintain company and industry standards.
Know, understand, follow, promote, and continuously improve company policies and procedures.
Observe all safety, environmental, and housekeeping rules and policies.
Document all work accomplished in a clear, concise and accurate manner.
Use precision measuring instruments to accomplish structural repairs or modifications (i.e. micrometers, calipers, protractors, scales, etc.).
Perform structural aircraft repairs/modifications/installation/fabrication using appropriate sheet metal techniques, fastener removal/installation and repair methods.
Read and interpret maintenance and structural repair manuals, and blueprints when required.
Set up and use sheet metal equipment such as brakes, presses, saws, shears and rollers.
Use sound judgment and technical aptitude to make basic decisions regarding modifications/repairs and sequence of tasks and procedures.
