Position Overview In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting avionics components, assemblies, and related systems to ensure all maintenance, repair, overhaul, and testing activities meet FAA, EASA, AS9100, and customer quality requirements. This position plays a critical role in maintaining safety, compliance, and operational excellence within an aerospace environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience inspecting avionics components, aircraft electrical systems, or aerospace assemblies
- Working knowledge of FAA Part 145, EASA, AS9100, and aviation quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with avionics testing equipment, inspection tools, and quality documentation
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional documentation accuracy
- Solid communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) environment
- Relevant inspection, quality, or aerospace certifications
- Familiarity with aircraft electrical, avionics, and troubleshooting processes
- Previous FAA repair station experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Inspect avionics components, assemblies, and aircraft electrical systems for compliance with regulatory, engineering, and quality requirements
- Perform functional testing, verification, and final inspection of avionics equipment and related repairs
- Review maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), and inspection documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with FAA Part 145, EASA regulations, AS9100 standards, and customer specifications
- Identify, document, and report discrepancies, non-conformances, defects, or workmanship concerns
- Approve, reject, or route components for corrective action based on inspection findings
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, inspection tools, and avionics test equipment
- Maintain accurate inspection records, quality documentation, and traceability requirements
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and quality personnel to resolve technical or compliance issues
- Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements
