  • Proficiency with Altium, Cadence OrCAD/Allegro, or similar tools for designing aerospace boards, and experience working with external board manufacturing and assembly vendors.
  • Exposure to designing safety-critical or otherwise critically important aerospace flight hardware aligned with DO-254.
  • Exposure to developing high-reliability, radiation-tolerant, or radiation-hardened flight hardware for prolonged exposure to extreme space environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop analog and/or digital boards that interface with avionics systems, including sensors, power systems, and motor controls.
  • Design across the product lifecycle, including concept development, requirements definition, design, prototyping, verification testing, and release to production.
  • Perform schematic capture, select devices, and complete printed wiring board layout.
  • Host design reviews.
