About The Position
As an Assembler here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will assemble and integrate avionics systems, ensuring high-quality production that meets industry standards and customer requirements. Set up, operate and troubleshoot special purpose and miscellaneous light machines and equipment to perform a variety of operations. Instruct and train other operators. Assembles a variety of parts and sub-assemblies. Performs a variety of calibration and test functions.
Requirements
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to operate production machinery and tools effectively.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Use computer to access work instructions and input labor tracking
- Use strong fine motor skills to perform various tasks related to assembling products, especially those involving small parts or intricate components
- Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness
- Set up-up and perform visual, mechanical, and electrical checks on parts, sub-assemblies and devices
- Check quality of parts being run, repositioned, align, and fasten tools and fixtures
- Clean parts using plasma cleaner, sonic cleaner, and other processes
- Perform a variety of assembly functions, such as label making, stamping, laser beam welding, and epoxy applications.
