About The Position
The AVID Tutor works under general supervision in a temporary, part-time position. The role assists and tutors students across a variety of academic subjects to improve their performance in those subjects. Current college students or recent graduates are preferred. The anticipated vacancy is for the 2026–2027 school year, with an estimated start date of November 3, 2026. The tutor must be available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Employment requires fingerprinting and Level II background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
