About The Position

Freight Runners Express / Air Charter Express is seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Aviation Parts Clerk to join their maintenance support team. This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in aviation logistics, aircraft maintenance support, inventory management, or warehouse operations. The role involves working directly with aviation professionals in an airline environment, focusing on organization, teamwork, hands-on work, and aviation. As an Aviation Parts Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting aircraft maintenance operations by ensuring technicians have the necessary tools, materials, and aircraft parts to maintain fleet safety and operational schedules. The position requires a blend of desk work and warehouse activities, with a commitment to safety, quality, and FAA compliance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Comfortable working behind a desk and in the warehouse
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Airport Security Badge
  • Must be a United States citizen, or have the right to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous aviation, warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Manage, track, and distribute aircraft parts, materials, hardware, and tooling
  • Operate the aircraft parts counter and support maintenance technicians throughout the day
  • Issue, receive, and restock aircraft parts and specialized tooling
  • Process aircraft component cores and maintain accurate documentation
  • Coordinate pending core inventory and communicate with repair personnel
  • Submit mechanic parts requests for purchasing approval
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unpacking, inspecting, and logging incoming aircraft parts and repairs
  • Prepare and package aircraft materials and components for outbound shipment
  • Maintain organized and accurate inventory records using computerized inventory systems
  • Perform routine inventory cycle counts and ensure proper labelling and storage of parts
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department
  • Follow company procedures related to safety, quality standards, and FAA compliance
