We’re building a pipeline of experienced and talented Aviation Meteorologists for several positions to be opened soon. The positions will be onsite, with several locations in the Caribbean and the U.S./Northeast region. We are looking for team players with high integrity and a proven track record of supporting aviation operations in a fast paced environment. Requirements

2+ years of operational experience as an aviation meteorologist
Able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends & holidays
Strong familiarity with how various weather conditions (wind direction, wind speed, ceilings, visibility, etc.) will affect runway configurations at a given airport
Strong familiarity with airline operations
Strong familiarity with air traffic management programs and airspace classifications
Strong synoptic and mesoscale meteorology skills, with significant experience forecasting convection, winter weather, tropical weather and fog
Familiarity with impacts of volcanic ash and large-scale dust storms on aircraft and flight patterns/routes

Responsibilities

Experience creating TAFs
Experience creating convective, turbulence and icing forecasts/outlooks focused on aviation operations over large geographic areas
Experience participating in conference calls pertaining to aviation meteorology
Experience giving verbal/written briefs pertaining to aviation meteorology
Ability to work independently
Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations
Ability to meet hard deadlines
Ability to multitask and pay strong attention to detail
Ability to be an effective communicator
