About The Position

Yulista Integrated Solutions LLC is seeking an Aviation Mechanic III for a regular position. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing various aircraft systems, including structures, landing gear, flight surfaces, engines, and auxiliary power units. The mechanic will replace or repair worn components, perform disassembly and inspection of airframe parts, and service aircraft components to ensure safe operating condition. The position also includes performing aircraft jacking and towing, ensuring accurate completion of maintenance documentation, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. The mechanic will utilize various measuring tools, conduct tool inventories, and strive for efficient work. They will also perform Foreign Object Damage (FOD) walks and comply with all relevant DHS/Department of Defense (DOD) documents, publications, safety rules, and regulations. Prompt reporting of accidents, injuries, and safety violations is required. Additionally, the role involves performing duties as a V-22 Plane Captain, assisting in the training of junior mechanics, maintaining Naval Aviation programs, and conducting aircraft operational checks on external and APU power.

Requirements

  • Require knowledge of and experience performing maintenance on the following aircraft: MV22 / CV22 / CMV22
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, manuals, and specifications to determine requirements.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
  • Ability to research technical manuals and identify maintenance requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.
  • Will also routinely interact with external contacts such as customers, vendors, suppliers, shipping companies, etc.
  • Must always represent Yulista in a professional manner.
  • Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Yulista’s goals.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
  • Experience utilizing Nalcomis / OOMA
  • Familiarization with Naval Aviation programs / Audit procedures
  • V22 Rotor Track and Balance
  • VSLED Flight/Maintenance downloads
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with 10 years’ aviation experience with 8 years using military standards and specifications
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field required.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to pass a drug and background screening
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

  • Previously qualified as APU operator (V22)
  • Previously Bladefold/Wingstow qualified (V22)
  • Previously held Plane Captain qualification (USMC / USN).
  • Previously held CDQAR / QAR Inspector billet (USMC / USN).
  • 7 level (Airforce only)

Responsibilities

  • Follow guidance and direction of lead and supervision.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, ventilation, and heating systems.
  • Replace or repair worn or damaged components, such as alternators, fuel controls, fuel pumps, oil pumps, engine mounted gearboxes, and compressor bleed valves using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
  • Conduct removal of engines, hubs, and gearboxes from aircraft, using hoist or crane.
  • Disassemble and inspect airframe and other components for wear, cracks, security, or other defects.
  • Repair or replace defective parts then reassemble and install in aircraft.
  • Service engines and airframe components at line station making repairs, short of overhaul, required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition.
  • Perform jacking and towing of aircraft.
  • Ensure aircraft logbook, maintenance documentation, work packages and handovers are completed accurately.
  • Maintain a high state of cleanliness and utilize a clean-as-you-go process when executing maintenance duties.
  • Utilize measuring tools such as micrometer, dial caliper, grip gauges, feeler gauge and depth gauge.
  • Perform detailed tool inventories daily.
  • Strive for efficient work effort in all assigned tasks.
  • Perform regular Foreign Object Damage (FOD) walks.
  • Comply with processes and procedures as per DHS/Department of Defense (DOD) documents and publications.
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations while performing day to day maintenance.
  • Promptly report all accidents, injuries, safety, violations, and/or unsafe practices or procedures to supervisor.
  • Perform duties of a V-22 Plane Captain in accordance with required publications.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior mechanics.
  • Assist in maintaining Naval Aviation programs.
  • Conduct aircraft operational checks on external and APU power.
