About The Position

The Pratt & Whitney Mobile Services Dallas group is looking for an Aviation Maintenance Technician to support our growing FAR 145 repair station in Dallas, TX. Pratt & Whitney’s Aviation Maintenance Technician will provide aircraft engine maintenance/repair and/or quick turn aircraft engine maintenance within our Dallas based shop. In this role, you may provide engine troubleshooting, aircraft engine repairs, aircraft engine module removal and replacement, and/or line maintenance (including LRU removal and replacement). In this role you will play an important role within our P&W Line Maintenance Services (LMS) organization FAA 145 repair station. The focus of LMS is to provide our customers with increased value through alternative and flexible tailored maintenance solutions.

Requirements

HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 1-year relevant experience.
Holder of a valid Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant license
Minimum of 6 months of experience in repair of commercial aircraft engines
Must be able to obtain or currently have a US Passport

Responsibilities

Perform aircraft engine maintenance on all models of Pratt & Whitney Commercial aircraft engines.
Have an incessant focus on the quality of the service you provide and the safety of our Customers and Team Members ensuring all Environmental Health and Safety requirements, Pratt & Whitney/Raytheon Policy and Procedure and Customer/Regulatory Agency quality requirements are met.
Assist the team in producing first in class aircraft engine maintenance turnaround time/response time through team collaboration and execution of RTX's CORE operating system and continuous improvement processes.
Understand and follow appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Engine Shop Manual procedures and/or other approved technical data when performing maintenance.
Perform other supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as required
Build Internal and External relationships through good communication skills and understanding of customer perspectives.
Ability and willingness to travel on short notice to domestic and international locations as required
Willingness and ability to learn the skills required to perform aircraft engine inspections and/or lead maintenance activities both in shop and in the field at a Customer location
