About The Position

HSGI, Inc. is currently on the hunt for an experienced Aviation Fuel Cell Mechanic for our client in Greenville, SC. This role involves servicing water separators, checking meters for correct delivery and calibration, overhauling system components such as pressure regulating valves and excess valves. The mechanic will also be responsible for disassembling, adjusting, aligning, and calibrating gauges and meters or replacing them, and removing and installing equipment such as filters and piping to modify systems or repair and replace system components. Additionally, the position requires cleaning fuel tanks and distribution lines, removing corrosion and repainting surfaces, overhauling vacuum and pressure vents, floating roof seals, hangers, and roof sumps, and maintaining records of inspections and repairs.

Requirements

  • Must be able to fit in fuel cell opening which is approximately 10” x 16”
  • At least 5 years minimum of Aircraft Fuel System experience
