About The Position

Yulista Integrated Solutions LLC is seeking an Aviation Electrician III for a regular position. This role involves integrating wires and harnesses into aircraft, troubleshooting systems to meet customer needs, and interpreting various technical documents like drawings, blueprints, and modification work orders. The position requires collaboration with engineers on changes, performing complex wire repairs and terminations, and leading complex modifications or repairs. Responsibilities also include conducting maintenance operational checks, acceptance test procedures for complex systems, and troubleshooting these systems. The electrician will utilize various tools and equipment, perform soldering, and conduct regular Foreign Object Damage (FOD) walks, continuity, and power checks. Operation of Ground Support Equipment is also part of the role. The position requires the individual to provide their own tools, except for specialty items. Duties include removing, inspecting, repairing, and reinstalling aircraft parts/systems, annotating logbook and workbook entries, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. Adherence to all rules and regulations, including safety, is mandatory, with prompt reporting of any accidents or violations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent with 10 years’ aviation experience with 4 years using military standards and specifications
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field is required.
Strong communication skills
Ability to pass a drug and background screening
Must be able to obtain a government security clearance
Must be capable of carrying items up to 40 pounds. Heavier items must seek the assistance of other workers or weightlifting devices.
Must be capable of performing tasks in cramped, awkward, and strained positions and/or climbing up and down ladders, work platforms, scaffolding, and aircraft structures.
Must be capable of performing tasks that frequently require lifting, reaching, bending, walking, pulling, sitting, standing, crouching, stooping, kneeling, and stretching for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to read and interpret aircraft instruments.
Use special test equipment and tools.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Will also routinely interact with external contacts such as customers, vendors, suppliers, shipping companies, etc. Must always represent Yulista in a professional manner.
Must be trustworthy – will handle confidential information routinely
Ability to use general office equipment such as phones, copiers, scanners, printers, etc.
Ability to follow a process.

Responsibilities

Integrate wires/harnesses into aircraft.
Troubleshoot systems as required to meet customer needs
Interpret drawings/blueprints/instructions/Modification Work Orders/Technical Manuals.
Collaborate with engineers on changes to modification work orders and drawings during prototype, validation, and verification events as required
Terminate connectors, to include coaxial cables.
Complete complex wire repairs or terminations.
Lead complex modification or repair.
Conduct maintenance operational checks and acceptance test procedures for complex systems.
Troubleshoot complex systems.
Utilize test sets, multimeters, DMC crimp tools, wire strippers, heat guns, etc.
Perform soldering as required
Perform regular Foreign Object Damage (FOD) walks.
Perform continuity and power checks.
Operate Ground Support Equipment (Power Cart, Tug, Forklift, etc.).
Provide own tools except for specialty tools.
Remove, inspect, repair, and reinstall aircraft parts/systems.
Annotate logbook and workbook entries for service or other contractual guidance.
Maintain a high state of cleanliness and utilize a clean-as-you-go process when executing maintenance duties.
Adherence to all rules/regulations while performing day-to-day maintenance and correct subordinates as needed.
Comply with safety rules and regulations while performing day-to-day maintenance. Promptly report all accidents, injuries, safety violations, and/or unsafe practices or procedures to the supervisor.
