The Aviation Account Executive maintains overall responsibility for the entire renewal process for existing accounts, including policy review, game plan setting, loss analysis, program design, data completeness, and coverage/premium discrepancy issues. They also support winning new business and setting up new accounts, maintaining intimate knowledge of clients' business operations, strategies, and needs throughout the year. The position involves initiating the client renewal process by creating a Game Plan, conducting coverage analysis, and performing thorough reviews of policies and relevant documents. The role requires preparing for and facilitating meetings with key IMA stakeholders and clients, crafting marketing strategies, reviewing submissions, and negotiating with underwriters to determine proposal content. A commitment to continuous learning through ongoing education and awareness of industry trends, products, and services is essential, as is developing and maintaining carrier relationships. The role manages a book of business with $900K – $1 Million in revenue, with 50%-60% in the emerging market and 40%-50% in the middle market, and at least two large/complex accounts under the mentorship of an Account Executive Level 3.
