About The Position

Fields Auto Group is looking for a unique, energetic, and dedicated individual to care for our beloved dealership mascots: six incredible birds (African Greys and a Macaw). This full-time role splits time between our MINI location in Glencoe and our new Land Rover Service Center in Lake Bluff. If you love animals, excel at customer service, and want a completely unique workplace, this is your perfect role.

Requirements

• Prior experience with large birds is highly preferred, but a strong willingness to learn is accepted.
• A warm, outgoing personality to interact with luxury car buyers and dealership staff.
• A valid driver’s license and an excellent driving history to operate the company vehicle.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently across two sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily feeding, fresh water, and specialized dietary needs for 6 birds.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain cages and surrounding showroom areas daily.
• Act as an ambassador by greeting customers and safely introducing them to the birds.
• Travel between Glencoe and Lake Bluff during work hours to ensure both locations are covered.
