The Role AVD Brake Subsystem Architect Serve as an AVD designing engineer and the technical lead for a team of Brake engineers in the advanced development of passenger vehicles and light trucks. The role focuses on successful definition of requirements, design, analysis, performance & compartment integration in combination with meeting all imperatives. Candidates need to be familiar with GM’s advanced development process as well as the broader vehicle development process – design, development, and validation. Responsibilities of this position will demand a unique combination of technical strength and team leadership abilities as well as creativity, organizational agility, and a considerable level of initiative and independent judgment.
