About The Position
The McIntire School of Commerce is seeking an AV Support Student Worker for the 26-27 academic year. This role involves assisting the AV Support team with testing AV systems, providing basic AV support, and potentially supporting evening and weekend events. The position is primarily sedentary, involving extensive computer use, but also requires frequent walking between rooms to test AV systems.
Requirements
- Current undergrad UVA student
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Zoom
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AV equipment including projectors, monitors, and microphones
Responsibilities
- Assist the AV Support team by testing classroom and conference room AV systems on a regular basis and taking comprehensive notes on the results
- Support occasional evening and weekend events as necessary
- Provide support for calls that come in regarding basic AV issues in the classrooms and conference rooms
