About The Position

This client is a leader in office space planning, design and installation. They are currently looking to make an addition to their service team. This group focuses on providing repairs and service to existing customers, they also support sales, installation, warehouse, vendors and clients. This is a position that will require strong administrative, data entry and customer service skills. We are looking for someone with a mechanical aptitude, understands how to use tools to repair office furniture. The right candidate will be responsible for handling all Audio Visual Installs. Working directly with the internal project managers, and following up with clients from time to time.

Requirements

  • BS/BA Degree and 1+ years of work experience in customer support and coordination of services OR AS Degree and 3+ years of work experience in customer support and coordination of services.
  • Must take General Typing and Excel 2013 Normal User tests on Kenexa

Responsibilities

  • Secure labor for installations.
  • Timely installation of AV projects.
  • Install arrivals communicated to customer(s).
  • Build installation schedules into the future.
  • Fleet utilization
  • Teamwork: schedule installations with AV Project Managers.
  • Schedule technicians and commissioners to projects and publish for visibility to the team.
  • Secure labor for installations: Internal Technicians and sub-contractors for nationwide installations.
  • Manage sub-contractor contractual agreements. Maintain the list of subcontractors retained.
  • Find subcontractors in outstate markets. Multiple entities required in markets.
  • Match installation and commissioning requirements with appropriate skill sets.
  • Work closely with AV Install Manager and Project Managers to get installs staffed.
  • Onboard sub contracted labor groups.
  • Modify the install and commissioning schedule as required.
  • Manage internal and external communications related to installation schedule.
  • Maximize fleet efficiency through effective route dispatching. Rent vehicles as required.
  • Service customers timely.
