About The Position

We are seeking a trustworthy, hungry-to-learn, and hands-on AV Project Manager who enjoys splitting their time between the field and the office. The ideal candidate is technically inclined, curious about how things work, and has experience on construction sites, preferably in AV/LV projects. This role requires knowledge of the built environment and experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final), along with a steady work history (3 years between job changes), a pleasant disposition, and high emotional intelligence (EQ).

Requirements

• Experience on construction sites as a Project Manager (AV/LV is a plus).
• Knowledge of the built environment.
• Experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final).
• A steady work history (minimum 3 years between job changes).
• Pleasant disposition and high EQ.
• Ability to read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, and distribute plan sets/blueprints.
• Experience with Project Management Software.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with C4, Savant, and/or Lutron.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, in-house staff, other trades, General Contractors (GCs), architects, and representatives.
• Understand, deliver, and troubleshoot the scope of work as needed.
• Manage project timelines and scheduling, including planning, being proactive, and aligning with resources.
• Ensure project profitability by keeping actual hours at or below budgeted hours, and by removing redundancy and errors.
• Issue work orders to the team and coordinate with third parties.
• Perform quality control to ensure all work meets the scope of work, plans, company standards, and client expectations.
• Read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, and distribute plan sets/blueprints to the team.
• Create, submit, obtain approval for, confirm payment for, and execute change orders.
• Lead client experience initiatives, including managing expectations for a polished client experience.
• Provide status updates in Project Management Software.
