About The Position

OneRevel is seeking a Field Engineer II to serve as the technical leader for their field operations. This role involves integrating advanced audio/video distribution, video walls, and digital signage for commercial clients. The position goes beyond basic installation, focusing on architecting and executing premium commercial AV ecosystems, including IPTV, Q-SYS, and HDMI distribution. The Field Engineer II will also mentor junior staff, guide installation teams, and uphold technical standards. The role requires flexibility for project demands and travel, with a company vehicle and specialized tools provided. The Field Engineer II will act as the senior escalation point for technical issues, collaborate with internal departments, and ensure quality control. They will also occasionally serve as an Event Day Operator.

Requirements

5+ years of relevant AV field installation, commissioning, or technical systems experience in commercial environments.
Solid networking understanding.
Familiarity with CTS, Q-SYS (Level 0/1), Crestron, IPTV/Com3000, Motion Rocket, and HDMI/HDBaseT distribution.
Ability to safely navigate construction, outdoor, and client-facing environments.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Ability to climb ladders.
Ability to operate lifts or bucket trucks (when certified).
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize without constant guidance.
Proven track record of training and leading others.

Responsibilities

Act as the technical 'tip of the spear' for field operations.
Lead the execution, commissioning, and support of premium commercial AV ecosystems.
Mentor lower-level field personnel and guide installation teams.
Elevate technical standards across the board.
Own the on-site execution of advanced commercial AV projects.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot complex systems.
Serve as the senior escalation resource for the team.
Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain impeccable quality control.
Occasionally step up as an Event Day Operator to support live client environments.
