About The Position

We are partnering with a well-established technology integration firm based in Jefferson City, MO, that has been a staple in the industry for over 25 years. This team is currently in an exciting phase of "redefining who they are," moving beyond just delivering cool products to building a robust internal culture focused on excellence and continuous learning. Known for handling everything from $10,000 residential upgrades to $170,000 custom projects, they provide a one-stop-shop experience for both residential and commercial clients across Mid-Missouri. We are seeking a AV Field Project Manager who acts as a "General"—a natural, born leader who people instinctively want to follow. This role is designed for a high-level technician or PM who still loves being hands-on but is ready to take ownership of field operations. You will be responsible for guiding a team of 8–12 technicians, ensuring quality control, and shoring up technical skill sets across the organization to meet "The Entertainer Standard."

Requirements

  • Serious Technical Chops: Significant experience in residential/commercial AV integration with a passion for quality (you're the person with pictures of your clean racks on your phone).
  • Programming Proficiency: Must be proficient in Control4; however, we are also seeking high-level expertise in a second platform such as Savant, Crestron, or RTI.
  • Lutron Proficiency: Ability to handle Lutron lighting and shading programming efficiently.
  • Leadership Innate: Proven ability to lead and organize teams through influence and communication, rather than ego or "drill sergeant" tactics.
  • Detail Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on documentation and follow-through.

Nice To Haves

  • Networking Certifications: PCNA, Cisco, or equivalent certifications are highly desired to support a growing commercial and phone-system customer base.
  • System Experience: Familiarity with Araknis networking products.
  • Growth Mindset: A desire to pursue further certifications (like Lutron QSX) which the company is willing to support for the right contributor.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Mentor: Guide and keep a team of 8–12 technicians functional, serving as the technical "backstop" for complex site issues.
  • Standardize Quality: Act as the final "buy-off" for all work, ensuring racks, structured cabling, and TV hangs meet the highest company standards for organization and presentation.
  • Hands-On Programming: Take ownership of starting and finishing jobs, including high-level programming across various platforms.
  • Process Development: Identify areas for efficiency and actively contribute to building standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Client Communication: Serve as a professional representative of the company on-site, ensuring jobs are completed on time and the client's vision is realized.
  • Operational Support: Coordinate between the sales team and field staff to ensure punch lists are completed and projects are officially "closed" with excellence.

Benefits

  • Health Insurance
  • Dental and Vision Insurance
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • 401k Retirement Package
  • Company-sponsored training and certification opportunities
