AV Diagnostics Senior Systems Specialist

Requirements
- 3+ year of experience in requirements development, software development, integration, verification or testing, or implementing ISO 26262 and ASIL standards.
- Exposure to integrity-based diagnostic design principles, FMEA and systems thinking
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- 3+ year of experience developing hardware and/or software diagnostics.
- Experience with vehicle grade integration of SoC, MCU, diagnostics infrastructure and other platform related components.
- Ability to read/understand source code (C/C++) and Simulink models
- Knowledge of 1968.2 OBDII Regulatory requirements
- General knowledge of automotive systems (Active Safety, Powertrain, Chassis, and/or CAN/LIN communication).
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of systems engineering activities with a strong focus on diagnostics
- Ensure engineering deliveries are compliant with government regulations, such as OBD II, system safety and GM best practices
- Provide diagnostic oversight and act as primary point of contact for concerns and questions related to system/component(s)
- System Technical Specification development along with FMEA analysis will be fundamental aspects of the position
- Lead peer reviews to ensure compliance to requirements
- Communicates information to both internal and external customers
