This position requires a Child Development Associate credential OR at least 9 credit hours of approved college coursework in the field of Early Childhood Education or Child Development from a regionally accredited institution. The Auxiliary Teacher is responsible for assisting Lead teacher in providing a safe and developmentally appropriate preschool program in accordance with all Office of School Readiness program guidelines. Auxiliary Teacher will have 187 days of service. The Auxiliary Teacher will provide 180 days of service to the children and 7 days of Pre-K related activities (including Pre- and Post-planning, classroom set-up and take down). The teacher is expected to work and be compensated based on 7.5 hours of work per day which includes 6.5 hours of instruction and 1 hour of planning with the Lead teacher.
