As an Autonomy & Active Safety Engineering Intern in Summer 2027, you will work alongside Oshkosh engineers to develop, integrate, and demonstrate next-generation autonomy, robotics, perception, and vehicle control technologies on real vehicle platforms. Depending on your background, interests, location, and project assignment, your work may focus on areas such as computer vision and machine learning, perception and sensor fusion, localization and mapping, planning and controls, embedded systems, vehicle integration, simulation, or full-stack robotics development. Throughout the internship, you will gain hands-on engineering experience while developing an understanding of Oshkosh’s products, customers, technologies, values, and processes. Interns have the opportunity to own meaningful technical projects while receiving mentorship, training, and opportunities to connect with engineering professionals across the organization.
