The worksite is Sunnyvale, though a need to work out of the San Francisco office remains possible during the engagement. Candidates must possess the flexibility and logistical capacity to transition to the San Francisco office for future operational needs. Serve as the onsite technical support resource for remote software and hardware engineering teams by performing vehicle-side diagnostics, sensor swaps, and physical interventions. Execute validation, testing, firmware flashing, and troubleshooting procedures for autonomous sensor systems including LiDAR, Radar, Cameras, IMUs, and vehicle compute units. Perform sensor calibration and alignment using both physical and software-based calibration workflows. Monitor Slack, Jira, and telemetry dashboards for hardware alerts, faults, and service requests. Install software packages, update drivers, flash firmware, and execute validation scripts using Linux command-line tools. Maintain accurate documentation of calibrations, testing results, vehicle uptime, and inventory movements.
