About The Position

We are hiring dependable drivers in Austin, Texas, to test self-driving vehicles and collect data. The driver rides in and monitors autonomous vehicles, helps ensure safety, and reports issues. The role is full-time at $25 per hour and is described as a long-term contract. Available schedules are Tuesday–Saturday with 8-hour shifts or Friday–Monday with 10-hour shifts; morning and evening shifts are available. The position is 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Valid U.S. driver's license held for at least 3 years; the posting also specifies a Texas license.
• Clean driving record/MVR.
• No DUI or drug/alcohol-related driving offenses in the past 5 years.
• Good communication skills.
• Dependable, responsible, and safety-focused.
• Comfortable driving in different weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor self-driving vehicles.
• Take control of the vehicle when needed.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks.
• Report vehicle problems and driving issues.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures.
