Autonomous Hauling Technology Consultant - Field Support

Caterpillar Inc.US - AZ - Camelback Office, AZ
$112,710 - $169,060Onsite

About The Position

Join Caterpillar's Autonomy team and play a key role in launching autonomous technology at quarry operations in North America. As an Autonomous Hauling Technology Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of bringing Cat® MineStar™ Command for Hauling to life, helping customers successfully adopt and optimize one of the most advanced autonomous haulage systems in the world. Working directly on-site, you'll partner with customers, Cat dealers, and Caterpillar experts to ensure autonomous operations are running safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. This is a highly visible role where you'll lead the implementation and operational ramp‑up of Command for Hauling at active quarry operations. You'll troubleshoot complex system challenges, optimize performance, provide expert guidance, and help customers realize the full value of autonomous hauling technology. While you'll spend your time in the field, your focus is on technical leadership, problem-solving, and relationship building. Unlike large mining operations, quarry environments offer a unique opportunity to see the direct results of your work every day. With smaller teams, fewer machines, and a highly collaborative environment, your ideas, decisions, and improvements can have a significant impact on the entire operation. This is not a role where you're one of many, it's a chance to be a driving force behind meaningful change and be recognized for the value you bring. As Caterpillar continues to invest in and expand Autonomous Hauling Solutions within the quarry industry, you'll have the opportunity to help shape the future of autonomy in a rapidly growing market. Join a team that is pioneering innovation, transforming operations, and creating the next generation of autonomous quarry solutions.
