The Automotive Window Tint Installer will be responsible for installing window tint and paint protection film on vendor, customer, and dealership automobiles. This role requires using quality products and trusted techniques to achieve the best results. The installer will also program and cut door edge protectors from paint protection film using a supplied plotter, take orders, and ship paint protection products. Communication with necessary personnel to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet company standards is crucial. The job involves preparing windows by removing dirt and debris and applying primer before tinting, and selecting the appropriate tools and equipment for each job. A shop software system will be used to manage job information, and a plotter will be used for computer cutouts of tint and paint protection film, with hand cutting as needed. The installer must adhere to OSHA and EPA regulations and maintain an orderly work environment by cleaning up after jobs and performing janitorial duties when necessary. Other duties may be assigned.
