The Automotive Window Tint Installer will be responsible for installing window tint and paint protection film on vendor, customer, and dealership automobiles. This role requires using quality products and trusted techniques to achieve the best results. The installer will also program and cut door edge protectors from paint protection film using a supplied plotter, take orders, and ship paint protection products. Communication with necessary personnel is key to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet company standards. The job involves preparing windows by removing dirt and debris and applying primer before tinting. The installer must choose the right tools, equipment, and parts, and use the shop software system to manage job information. Utilizing a plotter for computer cutouts and hand-cutting tint film when necessary are also part of the duties. Adherence to OSHA and EPA regulations is mandatory. Maintaining an orderly shop environment through cleaning and proper tool storage is expected, along with performing janitorial duties when needed. Other duties may be assigned.
