About The Position

Dent Wizard is hiring an experienced Automotive Wheel Technician to travel to customer locations and repair and refinish vehicle wheels. The role involves removing tires and wheels, repairing cosmetic damage such as curb and road rash, peeling, scrapes, gouges, oxidation, and bends, and painting wheels to a like-new condition. Technicians provide customer service and promote Dent Wizard’s services while working independently and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Compensation is commission-based with uncapped earning potential; stated compensation ranges vary in the posting, with long-term earning potential of $60,000–$110,000+ and expected starting compensation of $50,000–$100,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.

Requirements

• Experience is required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong customer service and sales skills to interact with customers and build accounts.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and safety.
• Manual dexterity for repetitive-motion tasks.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
• Vision abilities including close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Physical stamina to kneel, bend, squat, climb, and work on one's feet, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to service vehicles.
• Remove tires and wheels from vehicles.
• Use grinding and sanding tools to repair cosmetic wheel damage, including curb and road rash, peeling, scrapes, gouges, oxidation, and bent wheels.
• Paint and refinish wheels to a like-new condition.
• Deliver excellent customer service and promote Dent Wizard’s services.
• Work independently and manage the workday without micromanagement.
