About The Position

The Automotive Wash Bay Technician is responsible for ensuring vehicles are clean and presentable, both inside and out. This role involves using various cleaning methods and agents to wash vehicle exteriors, remove interior trash, clean upholstery and carpets, and apply protective waxes and sealants. The technician will also be involved in headlight refurbishment and ensuring the overall quality and standard of service meets the organization's expectations and customer requirements. A key part of the role includes thoroughly inspecting vehicles before delivery and maintaining the proper function of all service tools and equipment. The position operates in a fast-paced environment, primarily in a garage or outdoor setting, requiring teamwork and adaptability.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs & priorities.
Positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicle using pressure washer and automatic washer.
Remove trash from the interior and cleans upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Applies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine.
Apply protective sealant.
Refurbishing headlights.
Maintain the standard and quality of service of the organization.
Understand and deliver to the specific requirements of the customers.
Inspecting the vehicles thoroughly for pre delivery.
Maintaining the proper function of all service tools and equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
