About The Position

The Automotive Wash Bay Technician is responsible for washing vehicles using pressure washers and automatic washers. This role also involves cleaning the interior of vehicles, including removing trash, cleaning upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces. Additionally, the technician will apply wax and protective sealants to auto bodies to preserve shine and protect surfaces, and may be involved in refurbishing headlights. Maintaining the organization's standard and quality of service, understanding and fulfilling customer requirements, and thoroughly inspecting vehicles before delivery are key aspects of this position. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining the proper function of all service tools and equipment, and performing other duties as assigned by their manager.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs & priorities.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicle using pressure washer and automatic washer.
Remove trash from the interior and cleans upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Applies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine.
Apply protective sealant.
Refurbishing headlights.
Maintain the standard and quality of service of the organization.
Understand and deliver to the specific requirements of the customers.
Inspecting the vehicles thoroughly for pre delivery.
Maintaining the proper function of all service tools and equipment.
Other responsibilities provided by manager.
Perform other duties as assigned.
